is it common to sign more than one attorney contracts after an auto accident?
i had a car wreck on the 26th. i retained one law firm and made numerous calls to get questions answered every time i spoke with the adjuster, but got no calls back until 4 days later. when they called me back they let me know they referred my case to another law firm that they supposedly partner wit. now that law firm wants me to sign a new contract with the same attorney fees as the other firm. is that common or can one contract cover me with both? what do i do?
If you do, make sure the first firm cancells the first contract, in writing, or you will be giving both firms their 33 percent, leaving not much for you.
