Help Please!!! What part am I looking for?

I recently wrecked my 1988 Ranger 2.9L V6 4WD truck. I was told that my rear axle is warped on the drivers side. I tried going to Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly's Auto Parts, and Autozone's websites to get an idea what the price would be for a new axle. However, everything I've found on their websites has been stuff like Axle Seal, Axle Pivot Bushing, Axle Housing Gasket, Axle U-bolt, etc. Can someone tell me what part I'm looking for???

Either you need an axle SHAFT, or an entire axle HOUSING. You won't find either of those parts at an aftermarket parts store. Remembering your last question, I think your best course of action would be to try and locate a used entire axle assembly. It would be more cost effective that way. You may have a difficult time trying to locate one though, due to the age of your vehicle. Hope this helps.
