20 inch rims - disposal?
I have four fancy rims from my 350Z which I bought used. I eventually replaced the tires and rims with 19" equipment - the tires were shot and I was told the car would handle better with the 19" tires. The old rims still have old tires on them and two need straightening. What's the best way to get rid of these? Do they have any value either to sell or at a recycling place? Thanks for any help.
The rims are an easy disposal, anything from putting them on the curb for the garbage man to letting anyone take them for free. Even selling them their not the most desirable because most 20 inch are not on japenses cars. But the biggest problem is the tire, no one wants to pay to get rid of junk tires and no one really wants to pay to have them removed from the rims. You can try craigslist they should be worth around 100 for the set with any luck and at that price maybe someone wouldn't mind paying to dispose of the tires
