What tool is good for cutting up old car tires (not tubes)?
I have several old car and pickup truck tires which must be removed from my property. They are not salvageable, garbage collector won't take them, and there is no tire recycler in the area. Landfill will take them, but they must be quartered first.
Which cutting tool, is good for this purpose, in your experience?
You could try an auto salvage yard, junk yard. They may charge a small fee to take them. If not, a reciprocating saw also known as a sawsall with a metal cutting blade will work. You need the metal cutting blade for the steel belts in the tires.
