In Connecticut, where does my responsibility end and the town's begin when it comes to tree removal?
I have a tree outside the stone wall lining our front yard. The tree is a hazard because the town cut half the tree down about 10 years ago. It's been dying a slow death and now threatens cars parked in the driveway, and may threaten our lives as we fetch the mail or bring out the garbage. Who is responsible for this tree?
