Can I claim the car as mine?
The car has been on my driveway a month now and its tax has run out. Ive left a note on the car requesting its removal from the owner and it keeps being ignored and taken off. It has been causing an inconvenience to me as its on my land and the council wont move it because its on private property. I want to know if I can keep it?
Maybe you should contact some officials and give them its license plate number, see whether they can find out who owns it. I wouldn't take it without being sure about the legal aspect.
