HELP, what have i done?
ok so myself and my boyfriend have a mate who lives in cape town! so there was a position going in my job and i offerd it to him! ok so now the situation is he needs to stay with us, he doesnt have a car and will be using mine ill be using my boyfiends and dropping him off in the mornin g and fetching him every afternoon .
im just feel sorry for our mate coz he doesnt have a lot of cash and i just feel he could really suceed in Real Estate, i just want to give him a a little helping hand.. do you think this is a good idea???
It's never a bad thing to help out a friend, but I would recommend that you set clear limits and boundaries....you will still need private time with your boyfriend, your friend will be expected to carry his load of responsibilities around the house and help with bills and once he has started making money at work, he has X amount of time to find his own place. Explain that you feel that setting clear expectations for everyone for the get-go will prevent any misunderstanding and any potential damage being done to your friendship.
