If I buy a new car and pay cash, can I get a discount?
my dad is a car salesman and i asked about this before. he told me either way the customer is getting screwed, wether they are paying cash or financing. but since the dealer makes more money in finance you are more likely to get a better deal through finance, only to loose the difference in interest. so it really doesn't matter, but if you have the cash go for it at least you wont have to deal with making payments each month.
