What type o' car or truck should I buy tomorrow?
Okay, so I sold my truck for cash this evening, and tomorrow I'm going car-shopping. I really, really want a big, 4x4 truck, like a Dodge Ram or F150, but I know that what I should buy is a small car that is great on gas mileage.
Should I go with what I want or with what I know makes more sense?
I do live in Colorado and often go into the mountains, so a 4x4 could be a practical choice as well.
I own a Dodge Ram extended cab, I love my truck and I love to drive. Unfortunately, I average about 11 mpg. I have done everything I can to increase the mpg, but it is what it is- and it sucks. Costs me about 90 bucks every time I fill and I fill about 4 times a month. I find myself using my husband's car more and more often.
If you can easily afford the gas, go with the truck, if not, go with something smaller
