Can I buy a car and turn around & sell it with out paying taxes in NY?
I`am getting a loan for a car which my friend bought me for cash! I can only get the loan if he is the seller. He don`t want to register the car and pay taxes on $11k because it is my car over all. So how do i go about not paying taxes 2 times? Does he have to pay taxes to be the owner of the vehicle? Please HELP! Thank You!
Whomever registers the car in their name is who pays the taxes.
