Cash for clunkers question, is my vehicle eligible?
I have a 1998 Pontiac grand Prix. When my car was new it got 17m/p/g in city 27 highway making 21 combined. The eligibility says 18m/p/g or less but no way does my car get 18m/p/g. So it is eligible or is our government ignorant for not taking that into consideration? It meets all other requirements.
well technically it should be eligible but its a glitch in the whole thing, they use the EPA mileage from when it was brand new since its no real way to test it immediately to see what it really gets now, so they use the mileage it supposedly got when it was brand new not what it gets now, its messed up but thats how they're doing it, so it wouldn't be eligible
