Is it just me or does CARS (cash for clunkers) seem like cruel and unusual punishment for cars?
I thought the government abolished cruel and un-usual punishment. This is just mean though, to put liquid glass in the motor and run it till it seizes before it is crushed. Thats like sticking a man with a small dose of rat poison so he is slowly dying and then shooting him. CRUEL AND UNUSUAL. Sorry, just my opinion. Whats yours?

As far as the comment goes about the carburated engines, they aren't all carburated. Many are later model cars. It's just not right that a vehicle that is a 2001 should be destroyed. What a waste environmentally!!!
