No car, no job have some cash.. please please help/advice?
My lease runs out next monday I have no friends or family and 1200 dollars. what should I do? Anyone been in this situation? Should I move to the city and hope for the best or could I collect unemployment til I get a job? I'm 20 yr old male with a little experience bussing and manual labor. Where do I sleep? Homeless shelters only hold you for a day or two from my understanding, i've lived out of my car before but I dont even have that now, is it likely i could find a job in a midwest city within walking distance? I currently live in MN, I would really appreciate any advice
i would say move to the city and this is going to sound silly but it'll work since most places can't hire right now volunteer somewhere and wait for someone to quit or get fired they will see your experience from you volunteering there and maybe hire you. move from homeless shelter to homeless shelter unless of course you make a really good friend where you are volunteering who would let you stay with them in an apartment or search craigslist for a room mate
