Hey New Yorkers I will be visiting I need some suggestions please?
I will be visiting New York in March. I wanna stay in the time square area. Where should I book my room at and what airlines do I go to JFK? I was told not to get a rental car to just bring cash for a taxi. I will be there for 2 days. How much cash should I bring? I never rode a taxi in my life. Where else I can visit besides walking around time square. Just need some suggestions
My advice is to get a hotel in a suburb in New Jersey and take the bus to New York and walk from the bus station. It will be a lot cheaper in the long run. Some other places to go include Central Park, the various museums (natural history, art, sports museum of america, etc), Broadway and the theater district, going to a Knicks or Rangers game, United Nations, New York University, and much more.
