Cash For Clunkers, why am I not eligible?
If I can go from averaging 28mpg to 50 mpg, why am I not eligible for the Cash For Clunkers program? I would be saving 22 mpg! That's more than some people are saving by turning in their 18 mpg and less cars/trucks. This is not fair!
The program is to get old wasteful cars off the road and help the auto industry sell more. Hold your head up high, citizen! You're already saving the world!
