i want to sell my car but my parents wont let me?
i have a 2006 nissan sentra 1.8 liter that my parents bought me a year ago. Its a great car and only has 40,000 miles on it. I love making cars faster. so iv been improving the performance of my sentra. stock it has 126 horsepower. however, there is a 2.5 liter sentra that is stock with 175 hp. i hate to tune up my car when there is one out there with 50 more horsepower already. also its very hard to find performance parts for the 1.8. Ive be trying to convince my parents to let me sell the 1.8 with 40,000 miles and buy the 2.5 with a little more mileage. they wont let me because the car isnt paid for completely. How can i convince them or persuade them to let me sell it??
You do not need a faster car. Obviously you are 16-18 and at that age you dont need a faster car. Plus no matter what sentra you have it is going to be slow so dont waste the time or money. Just stick with your slow car, be glad you have a car, and that this time to save for a real car that can be made fast. Plus with a fast car comes a greater chance of getting in trouble. Just wait, save and then buy a nice car once you are a little more mature and are outa high school.
