ask fiancee to sell car his friend want to rent, 5mo no $, asked fiancee got upset said its his car,is he rite
my very first car was run down so I wanted to donate, my fiancee said that he could sell it so i agreed, a friend of his wanted to rent the car for $200 a month, its been over 5 months since I seen any money-- asked fiancee about it he started an arguement saying he basically brought the car from me since he gave me money during income tax (which I understood to be for my son) and that I have no right to the car. title is still in my name unless forged. We had a verbal agreement that we would atleast split the money that was obtained, now it seems like he is holding out on the money if his friend is even paying at all! Is he right or if not how do I go about getting my car back to donate like orginially planned?
The title is in your name. You are the legal owner of the car. Your boyfriend does not have an interest in the car - I don't think he can rent the car out.
Unless you signed the title over to the boyfriend - he did not purchase the car.
I'd suggest you re-evaluate considering marrying this person.
