Why are good cars getting destroyed for the C4C?
I am having a hard time comprehending the type of cars people turned in for this program. There was a 2001 SS Camaro, 1993 454 SS truck, 2003 Colorado, and a 96 Impala SS at my junkyard with clunker written on the windshield. I thought people were trying to get out of debt, but here they are junking good cars that are worth at least 8 grand for 4500. Can someone help me comprehend this??
Those were the worst ones, the rest were mostly explorers, cherokees, s10s, f150s, and silverados
They were stupid and likely had no idea their car was worth so much. There are videos on youtube of Vettes that got traded in for that.
Aaron - You would need a new engine for it also since the 1st thing they do is seize it up. Some of it is parted out and most of is is recycled/crushed.
