1999 Buick regal won't start with daytime running light module in.?
I have a 1999 buick regal when the daytime running light module is plugged in the car will not start. When I take it out the car starts and runs fine but I dont have any turn signals. Normally I wouldn't care about signals but I need them to pass MD inspection so I can get tags. I have attempted to put in other modules (I got them used at a junk yard) with no sucess. Any ideas PLEASE HELP!
There is a thing called a parasitic load, it is possible that the daytime running light module is taking a parasitic load with the car off and it is too much to recover from when the ignition is turned over. It seems to be a wiring issue in the multi function switch (the one that controls the lights and signals). Or maybe the fuse may be bad.
