Cash for clunkers, what were they thinking?
Something that was bothering me when i was doing a little research on the cash for clunkers program that the government wants to release to the american public. After noticing the article in the paper, i realized my car, a 1995 chevy blazer, 4x4, was one of the main cars listed as a major clunker. But the only reason i have this piece of junk is because i have bad credit and cant get an auto loan, and the more i look into this program, im finding that yeah you do get cash towards a new vechile but only when you have good credit. What the heck was Obama thinking when he released this program? Did he not realize that the only reason people have clunkers is because their credit is bad and cant get an auto loan? Whats going on here and is this true???
We have a clunker that we have been thinking about selling for over a year now. We will definitely be taking advantage of the cash for clunkers deal and our credit is high 700s.
