Scrap Car Body Prices
November 24th, 2010 by admin

What is the best way to sell a car that does not run?

We have a car that does not run. It will start, but overheats shortly after. It has new tires and new brakes and the body is good on it. The interior needs a little upholstery cleaner, but otherwise it's in good condition. Where is the best place to sell a car like this? Will a mechanic buy it do you think and how much should we ask?

We could have it towed to the port and get the scrap metal price for it, but I'm too attached to it to think that it will end up squished!

Look up on Kelley Blue Book
www.KBB.comĀ·
for the value of your car. You can put in the Trader, or whatever paper is around you. Some people like to fix up cars. Just be honest with them from the get go of what is wrong with it.

Someone might want it for parts.
