What can I do to this car?
I have a beautiful Renault Laguna (M reg) with engine problem. I have been advised to scrap it because cost of fixing it is as high as cost of getting another good car. I am in love with this particular car but cannot afford the cost of repairs. Anybody knows a way out? For instance is there a market for fairly used car engines?
Check at local junk yards and look for a replacement engine. You never know what you run across at a junk yard. You even can ask around, someone may have one just lying around they want to get rid of.
Most mechanics shops will put them in. And in some cases you can find a motor similar to the one in your car and most shops can get them to fit.
