Scrap Car Hauling

scrap car hauling
What am I to do with a Daewoo Leganza with unknown problem?

My folks were sold on the idea of buying the Daewoo sedan, a Leganza, about ten years ago, when the brand was first introduced to the American car market from Korea. They absolutely loved it. It had many good qualities. However, the company has since tanked and the CEO has run off with the assets. GM was to take over production with a new model name, but now, maybe not. Owners were told that parts for the car would be available for about ten years after manufacture date, a requirement for any newly introduced vehicle. Now the car has developed an engine problem, resulting in a "messy" (i.e: smokey, noisy) stall on the freeway, which was temporarily Jerry-rigged to adequately limp home. My question: what can be done with this car now? Should we try to sell it for parts, or just junk it--haul it away to the scrap yard? Body's still in good condition, but no shop can work on the engine due to lack of parts. Your honest opinion and/or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary

I guarantee you that there are parts for it out there. First, you need to know EXACTLY what you need!! What were you tol dis wrong with this engine??? a gasket??? timing belt??? WHAT!?!?!
