Can you scrap a gearbox and earn money from it?
As it says above really.
As people know you can scrap in electric motors or car batterys or alloy wheels at scrapyards in exchange for cash can i do this for a whole gearbox from a car?

Look in the yellow pages, find a local salvage yard, call them up, and tell them what you have. If the gearbox is in good working order, a salvage yard will give you more money than the scrapping yard will. If the salvage yard's not interested, call up the local scrap yard. They will give you something for it be sure.
