How much to replace a front crossmember on my Nissan Micra?
I've been quoted £360 by the garage to replace it and retest it because it failed the MOT test. Is this a reasonable quote?
If it is a reasonable quote I'm not sure it's worth it because the car's worth less than that without an MOT - and worth about £360 with an MOT. So I could technically scrap it and but another for the same price, but what'd be the point? AAAGHHH!!!!!!
I've looked around on the internet and it seems to be a common problem with Micras, so I'm trusting them on that score. Going to take it to a garage for a second opinion on the work needed anyway though - cheers folks.
Looks about right as it is a lot of work.
