What should I do about a car...?
This is the situation.
Car broke.
It is worth through financing 3,000 dollars
It still has to be payed
Had to move from state
Car has just been towed
And car payments can't be made right now because I REALLY don't have money to catch up with the payments they want me to pay.
What do I do?
Can I get the car out of the towing place and have it sent to a scrap metal place?
But I dont' have the license plate number or the identification number and I dont' know what company has it!
Can the DMV take my license away if I can't do anything in time!?

The address on the title for registered owner NOT legal owner is where the notice will be sent. If you checked your mailbox and didn't find it. Somebody screwed up. Also Call the finance place and ask them if they got a notice where your car is. By law the yard that has the car must notify the registered owner within 24hours in most states. Also ask the police where cars usually go to be inpounded. Maybe it was taken back by your finance company? REPO??
Since the car is not paid for you can't have it crushed. You must have a title that say your the legal owner. and its paid for before anybody will touch it.
