What should I do?.....?
A few years ago I bought a second hand Kawasaki GPZ1000RX 1985, I loved the bike as I used it to travel between Cheshire and Cardiff pretty much every day, In the three months I used it I put about 12,000 miles on it!
However, one day the engine let out a massive rattle and died, it hasn't run since then and has been sat in a friend's garage. I have taken the engine out but not had the opportunity to strip it down and find the cause of the problem.
As It has been there for about 3 years now, should I sell it for scrap or try to get it running again?
(BTW, I love playing around with cars and bikes but at my current house I don't have anywhere to work on it).
TIA
Steve
Thanks Blackfirebeetle, I hadn't thought of ebay.
Thanks everyone, some good opinions! I guess I'll do what my heart is telling me; get it back, re-build it, and enjoy riding it again.
Now, does anyone fancy helping me clear my garden and build a nice big shed?
Do you love the bike? i definately would take the time to fix it!
The GPZ1000 is an awesome bike no matter what the age, i dont hink its ready for the scrap yard becuase it had an engine blowout, check out on different websites what its worth then sell it a cheaper becuase of the engine if you really want to
Think about it.... do you want to ride it again?
