Scratches on front bumper on the car - cost for enterprise?
I recently rented an enterprise rent a car, but i accidently hit the side of the rock and a small part about 2 inches width and 1 inch length, there is a scratch and it scrapped the bumper so it is black. How much does enterprise usually charge for this and should I fix this myself? When I got my car there were already other scatches like this that is similar but the dealer said it is wear and tear, but in this case in the front, it is because it scrapped a rock. How much would it cost to fix myself, and is it better to fix myself or tell them thanks for your help
Did you get their insurance when you rented the car? If so, you're covered.
If not, do you feel confident you could repair this yourself? Have you ever done it before?
Try cutting off the rough edges of the scratch and see if you can't try those little bottles of paint at Auto Zone or Pep Boys.
You need the primer and the color that matches the car.
Primer, let it dry, wet sand, paint, let that dry, wet sand, add another coat (if needed), then use a rubbing compound on it. Then polish the car.
