i scrapped my car last october and cant remember who i got to do it. Anyway i can find out who done it?
I know it was a company in the coventry area but cant remember who and have since had notification from a debt recovery agency saying that i owe £80 for the tax on it. I never received any notification from the DVLA about the tax so the only way to get this sorted is to find out who scrapped it, any ideas please?
The car still officially exists and does so in your name so you have to get that cleared up or this will keep happening for ever.
I suggest you write to the DVLA and give them as much detail as possible. Ringing them usually does not work too well as all you seem to get is recorded messages and never anyone to speak to
