Red diesel, in a road car but used only off road?
Ive got a diesel car for a demolition derby. The car will be used off road, in a field before being scrapped. It will never be used on a public road ever again. Is it legal to run the car on red diesel for this purpose or should I remortgage and buy a can of white diesel at the pumps?
Red diesel can be used anywhere except on the roads, with a few exceptions for tractors etc. It is perfectly legal to do what you are doing, as long as that car isn't then returned to road use with some red diesel still in the tank.
