does anyone in Ireland know how e.flow works?
so i had an old fiesta that the guards took a year ago to scrap. today i got a letter from e.flow saying that I went through a toll on the m50 south bound and never paid the toll. i rang the low call Number on the letter and explained that the car was scrapped a year ago.the guy was very nice and put me on hold while he went through the pics having asked me what kind of a car it was. he came back on a few minutes later and said it was not my car or anything like my car and that the car had a european reg. he told me not to worry about it that he would sort it out. but what I cant figure out is how they pulled the registration of a car that had been scrapped out of thin air.has anyone in Ireland had something like this happen to them?
What is happening is they are mixing the 0 and the 8's in some cases. If the screw (or whatever holds the numberplate on) happens to be in the middle of the zero it is picking it out at 8. Apparently They are getting something like 200 wrong a day. So wouldn't worry about it! God knows I could get a letter yet!!!
