What can my daughter do with an old junker in her yard?
My daughter has a junker car with almost no rust on it. She doesn't have a title and it doesn't run. Can she call someone to pick it up for scrap metal? If so, who? And what is a fair price right now for scrap metal? She and I don't know much about these things and we need advice.
The last car I sold for scrap sold for 40. Currently, scrap cars are going for 50-60 dollars in my area.
If you check the local paper, you may see someone advertised who buys scrap cars. Also, there should be a listing in the phone book. In my phone book, the listing is in the Yellow pages under "Automobile Parts & Supplies- Used & Rebuilt"
