How can I scrap my car without a V5 (logbook)?
I have been wanting to scrap my old car for ages but have lost the V5 (logbook) for it. Also the battery is flat so will not be able to drive it anywhere. What should I do?
I assume that means you are in Britain or India or someplace else because I never heard of a V5 and we don't keep log books in USA. Call the people who wreck cars or issue V5's and ask. Some wrecking companies will come and tow it. In the USA we have quite a fad of donating your car to charity and taking a tax deduction - call one of them to come and take it away if your country has it.
