Whats the best way to make money scrapping a car?
I leave for boot camp in 3 weeks so I am going to have to do something with my car. I had been deped in for 4 months now and over those for months shit started going wrong with my car. I didnt want to put the time or money into it since I knew I wasnt going to have it much longer and just decided to run it into the ground. Tonight driving home the muffler dropped down and now its dragging. in a few hours im going to go out and just rip the muffler off. So now I have this shitmobile that I plan on getting rid of when the gas is real low (I had JUST filled the tank). its a 1993 Honda Accord Ex, how much can I approx get at a scrap yard? what are some good ways to pull some more money out of the car? Parting it out is not an option because I am leaving as stated before. Im just trying to get some cash so I can finish paying off the last tiny bit of my credit card.
aside from parting it out there isnt another option. either 1. sell it to a junkyard and get $500 if youre lucky or 2. sell it on craigslist for cheap
