Where have all the russian 'Lada's or 'Yugo's gone?
Not seen any russian LADA or YUGO cars around the streets of the UK for quite some time now.
I presume they've all been scrapped or sent back to russia ?
Wasn't there a guy who would buy them from you if you drove to the docks in Hull or somewhere similar then take them back to russia via the sea ?
Where have they all gone ?
Lada ( based on the Fiat 124 from the mid 1960's ) stopped importing cars into the UK when the engines could not meet the strict emission laws in 1997. According to 'My Dad Had One Of Those' lada are still beng made in Togliatti - Russia.
