crashed my car, now what to do?? help help?
my car has been taken to the scrap heap about 3 months ago and I was supposed to be sent a receipt or something so I can officially write the car off. Now I just got a NCT appointment reminder and don't know how to declare my car a write off.

Contact the Dept. of the Environment, Vehicle Registration Unit, Shannon Town Centre, Shannon, Co. Clare with your reg number and tell them that you have scrapped the car. Let them know also who took the car away. As far as the NCT is concerned, you can ignore this. There is no legal requirement for you to produce your car for test. The only legal requirement is to have an NCT cert on the car while it is on the road.
