I just scrapped my car in Spain. The local garage arranged for the local scrap dealer to take it away?
I was paid nothing for it and assumed this was normal.Now I've been told it isn't! The car was running ok, new tyres, alternator,etc. Just some annoying problem with the engine that I couldn't solve - meant it jolted every so often. Anyone know how it works here? Thanks!

I see that you are British ... it depends on whether the car in question had a UK or Spanish Registration.
