how do I scrap my car for money?
I need to scrap my P reg (1996) VW Polo.
I see that there are plenty of people who will take it for free but what is best way of getting some money for the car. It hasnt been in an accident but the cost of getting it through the mot is greater than the value of the car.
I dont want to sell the car privately as this seems too much hassle so scraping seems the easist option.

You'll be lucky to get anything for scrap particularly if you cannot physically drive it to the scrapyard.
Stick it on Gumtree if it's still going and someone might give you £100 for it.
