Do anyone have advice on how to get a title for a car that was sold to me as a junk/parts car? I originally brought the car to repair my own car but the car works better than mines, my original car can be used for scrap to perfect the car i just brought. I only have a piece of paper that states the car was sold as junk/scrap metal on such and such date and the signature of the guy that sold it. When I called GA dmv they said the VIN was reported as a parts car. Do anyone have a solution? If so please help...
if you have a title for your car you could switch the vin plates. you also could try to use that paper as a bill of sale. most states that is all you need is a bill of sale. your title might end up showing that it is a parts car though. if it does it will probably be harder to sell it to someone that pays attention to the details.
