whats stuff is considered scrap metal?
i was just wandering if things like metal computer cases and air conditioners can be sold as scrap metal and how much for? and if i can sell cars as scrap metal and how much?
Any metal can be considered scrap, but the price varies wildly, if its a car and you have the title then you call auto salvage places and they will come get it and give you a check. Other metals should be sorted into types and then taken to scrap yards where you sell it, most prices are by the ton though they take smaller amounts. Nowadays anyone selling scrap will likely have to have valid ID and leave a thumb print. I just sold my mother 1994 Saturn SL1 with a blown motor for $280 and they hauled it away.
