I want to sell my used car with some issues. What's the best way to go?
I am a second owner of a 1995 MX-6 (base model) at 150,000 miles and my car blue books for about $2,000 at fair condition. It's definitley time to retire it, should I sell it at Carmax or a dealer? If I do, how much do you think I should accept for it? It has a oil leak, transmission leak, and it overheats (but I'm trying to fix the overheating before selling). Any suggestions, I almost think that it can't be sold. Please help! Thanks!
It sounds more like it is in "poor" condition Mark about $500 off the fair price and then take the first decent offer you get. You can advertise it in the newspaper for money or on craigslist.com for free.
