I was rear ended and I'm wondering how this will effect the resale of my car...?
I own a 2002 Audi A4 and was rear-ended this morning. I have low milage and I have payed big bucks to have all of my services and required maintenances through Audi, planning to sell it as Certified Pre-Owned. Now that my car has been in an , I'm thinking that I may not be able to do this now. How should I handle this with her insurance company, and will they care? How will I ever sell my car now? Seems like it's going to cost me. I guess I can just hope that it's totaled, but I haven't gotten an estimate yet...Any advice is much appreciated!
Yes...I did go to the ER this morning and got x-rays. I'm fine except for whiplash. Thanks for the info!
The vehicle will not be Certified Pre-Owned, and will come up on Carfax. All MFG's require vehicles to be free from any accident to be Certified. (I worked For BMW and other Dealerships). The insurance company will not care. Most states do not allow for depreciated value due to accident, but SOME do allow, you will have to check your state laws on the subject.
