Scrap or sell my car?
I have a vauxhall vectra 1.8 (V Reg) car and I am undecided whether to sell it or scrap it? it has done approx 112000 miles and its due an MOT next month. I took it into the garage to get it checked out and apparently all i would need to do to pass its MOT is get the two front tyres replaced. I am trying to decide though if it will be worth selling as its not exactly a first car for a new driver. But im not sure what i would get for it as scrap? - any help from any mechanics out there would be much appreciated. I went on that we buy any car. com thing and they said they'd give me £50. Now i know i'd get more than that!!

Scrap yard price is around £100-150 if you drive it in,personally I would replace the tyres and get a 12 month MOT and easily get £650-700 for it,try selling it on ebay even without an MOT it will make around £200,That "we buy any car" are just rip off merchants,good luck, Alan (car dealer)
