Can a junk car be scrapped for $600?
I told a guy I work with that I am getting a different car and will need to get rid of my 1995 Chevy Lumina. He claims that places can pay up to $600 to scrap a car but I haven't seen any. This car runs and I had 6 people look at it and once they see it they don't want to buy it. Should I sell this car for scrap or should I sell it to drive and is it really possible to get $600 for this car for scrap?
Just put it on http://craigslist.com and list it for $595 and take the best offer.. Scrap is maybe $200..
