How much value does my car have?
How much value does my Blue 2001 Mustang with 12000 miles have? I have another car and cant afford insurance for both of them so i have to sell this one. I don't know much about cars but this one works fine, I have not had any problems or anything. Idk how much to ask for it, I live in dallas tx if it matters.
Value, or worth?
Value is how much the vehicle costs, as a vehicle.
Worth, is what someone is actually willing to pay for it.
You can value it at $5,000, but if the market sucks, or if no one wants it, it's not actually worth that much.
It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
I'd say, start it at $5,000, or best offers. And judging from the offers you get, you should see what is reasonable for it.
Best offer, meaning: whatever is closest to your asking price. NOT the highest price over your asking amount.
