can i track a car i sold but the title was never changed?
My mom just found out the car she sold, the title was never changed is there anyway she can track where its at she lives in mn and the car was in sd . is that even possible to find it ?
i did add state but here it is Again Minnesota and south dakota but ya i had told her there was no way to find out but thanks for taking the time to answer my question
If the title was never changed why bother? The records will show your mom as the owner, and the car is parked at her address. Nothing was changed.
Many states have some form of "Release of Liability" form. If you mom didn't fill one out when she sold the car, she should do so ASAP. As long as the car is still in her name SHE is legally liable for any damages it does, and any tickets it gets.
