how do i write a deposit receipt?
please give me ideas on how to write a deposit receipt, im selling my car, someone is paying me a deposit first..
i want to give them a receipt to state that i have got their cash

You can make it very simple. The document doesn't need to be very special but it does need the following:
Payor's Name and probably address
Payee's Name and address
Date Paid
Amount Paid
Received By (and signature block) MUST BE SIGNED!!!
You probably want to include the the purpose for the deposit as well.
If it has all that, it would stand up in a civic court case.
