just totaled my car should i sell it to the junk yard?
just totaled my car and i was wondering do i need to hang on to it for insurance purposes because i hit the other car so i just wanted to know if i need to keep my car or can i get rid of it to a junk yard, i mean i just wanted to know if there is gonna be any issues with that

That's something that you will have to ask your insurance company about. If the accident is still being investigated, they may want to keep access to the car until everything is figured out. Selling it to a junk yard would obviously make that difficult or impossible and could result in additional fees or more problems for you.
Talk to your agent and find out if it's something that they would allow. However, if they already paid you money for it, then it is no longer your's to sell.
