I am trying to sell car somebody had emailed me saying they will pay by bankers draft?
The person has said they will get their fiduciary agent to get a uk banks bankers draft sent to me.They have asked for my name and address,can anyone help as it all sounds very dodgy to me.
no they haven't seen the car said someone would inspect it next week
That's what I find strange usually you would go look at car if you like it you would then sort out paying for it,or have the cash with you.Just wondering if anyone else has come across this

this is a well known scam, if you want to take a gamble and sell the car tell the buyer that you will not release it until the draft has cleared, this will take 21 working days, he will then tell you that a bankers draft is the same as cash, do not accept it, there are many forgerys about and it takes 21 working days to come to light by then you have no money and no car!
