i want to sell my car. title is in my name & my ex's. he does not live in country. we have no contact. help!?
i would like to find the best legal way to fix this. Can i still sell without his signiture and just use mine? he has had nothing to do with car for 3yrs. please help. thank you
It would depend on how it is worded on the title. If it Mr. X or Mrs. X you can sign it and sell it. If it says Mr and Mrs X you cannot. I suggest calling the DMV to see what they recommend if it needs both signatures.
